Research has shown that people in a marriage have better mental health than ones who are single. But how do you manage a marriage or a relationship with a partner who has mental health issues?

The Eklavya Foundation for Mental Health explores this intriguing question in a one-hour session on 6 March, 2024.

Led by Dr. Saras Bhaskar, a counseling psychologist and corporate consultant with over 25 years of experience, the session will give practical insights on managing relationships involving individuals living with mental health issues. Although the session is titled Marriage and Mental Health, Dr Bhaskar’s guidance will serve anyone living with a mentally ill partner, as well.

The session, which is a part of the Foundation’s lecture series, aims to address the dilemmas, doubts, and worries that are common in a relationship where one person has mental health problems.

Providing support and understanding for loved ones and also caring for oneself is paramount in such a scenario.
