April Smith is the director of the Research on Eating Disorders and Suicidality (REDS) Laboratory at Auburn University. She received her PhD from Florida State University’s Clinical Psychology Program in 2012 and completed her clinical residency at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Smith was an associate professor at Miami University before starting at Auburn in 2021.
