Lissun wins Series A funding round

Gurugram-based mental health platform Lissun has raised ₹48 crore ($5.7M+) in a Series A funding round led by Colossa Ventures.

The round saw participation from Physis Capital alongside existing investors, including RPSG Capital Ventures, IvyCap Ventures, Zerodha’s Rainmatter, Multiply Ventures, and SucSEED Ventures, as well as new backers like New Age India Fund and Beyond Capital Ventures. This follows their $2.5 million pre-Series A round in late 2024 and a ₹2.77 crore top-up in mid-2026.

What this funding signifies

Capital injections in the healthcare space are often measured in valuations and runway, but in mental wellness, capital represents reach, empathy, and access.

A substantial focus of this funding is directed toward expanding Sunshine by Lissun. This specialized wing provides multidimensional support for children dealing with neurodevelopmental and behavioral challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, speech delays, and learning disabilities.

The "phygital" ecosystem: Lissun combines physical centers with digital, AI-driven tools. The new capital will scale their physical centers across India while refining proprietary technology for early detection and therapy tracking.

Integrated care at the source
:
Founded in 2021 by Dr. Krishna Veer Singh and Tarun Gupta, Lissun operates on an integrated care model. Rather than asking individuals to seek out therapy in isolation, they collaborate directly with hospitals, educational institutions, and corporate environments to meet people at their point of need.

Lissun's growth & funding trajectory

  • Seed round (Sep 2023): Backed by Inflection Point Ventures and Rainmatter to establish the initial phygital model and set up early hospital partnerships.
  • Pre-Series A round (Sep 2024): Supported by RPSG Capital, IvyCap, Rainmatter, and Multiply Ventures to expand the team, refine AI technology, and scale service reach.
  • Series A round (Aug 2026): Led by Colossa Ventures, Physis Capital, Beyond Capital, and New Age India Fund to scale physical Sunshine centers and advance pediatric AI solutions.
"Today, our AI tools largely support therapists and parents — but the bigger opportunity is building AI-led solutions on our own proprietary technology and data, with the potential to reach millions of children across India who lack access to quality developmental care. This fundraise lets us scale both our centres and that platform to serve a much larger population of children and families," said Singh in a press release.

"One in eight children today is affected by neurodevelopmental disorders, yet access to quality, consistent care remains out of reach for most families. Lissun’s model changes that," comments Vandana Rajadhyaksha, Founder, Colossa Ventures.
