People with ADHD often struggle with traditional work structures, but the challenge isn’t ADHD itself—it’s how workplaces are designed.
People with ADHD can find it difficult to manage workloads and meet deadlines, which adds layers of stress and burnout. They are prone to procrastination and find it difficult to focus and prioritize.
Yet, these challenges come with advantages. ADHDers are known for their flexibility, adaptability, creativity, and attention to detail. How can you harness these qualities while managing the drawbacks?
MyndStories collaborates with Clinical Psychologist Taranpreet Kaur, from eMbrace, to bring you this session, where she advises on practical ways ADHDers can navigate work environments more effectively. Instead of masking struggles, we’ll discuss workplace accommodations, self-management strategies, and whether to disclose ADHD at work.
This session is designed for working professionals and job seekers with ADHD who want to improve their working styles, advocate for their needs, and build sustainable careers.
