Do you struggle with painful pre-menstrual cramps every month?

Do you have increased mood swings and heightened emotional sensitivity during your periods?

This workshop is an invitation to explore, acknowledge, and reflect on your relationship with your womb and menstrual cycle. If it feels right, you may also begin to redefine that relationship in a way that supports you.

We have been led to believe that pain, PMS, and discomfort are an inevitable part of every cycle. While some discomfort can be natural, many of us have learned to accept suffering as the norm, often without questioning why.

Even before we fully understood what the menstrual cycle was, many of us were taught to hide menstrual products or avoid discussing it at home. This led to feelings of shame, loneliness, or sadness—emotions our bodies continue to carry until we create space to sit with them. Clinical studies also show that emotional turmoil has a direct impact on the uterus.

Join Psychotherapist Aanchal Sharma as she helps you explore personal experiences, societal influences, and the deeper emotional aspects of menstruation in a confidential space, with the choice to participate actively or silently.

About the facilitator

Aanchal Sharma is a psychotherapist with over three years of experience supporting young adults and adults in navigating life’s challenges.

She holds an MSc in Psychology from Queen Mary University of London, along with certifications in Hypnotherapy, Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), and Timeline Therapy. She is also well-trained in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Inner Child Work.

Her personal journey with menstrual health and the mind-body-spirit connection has inspired her to create workshops around menstruation and emotional well-being. She offers both lived experiences and professional insights into how our emotions, past experiences, and societal influences shape our connection to our menstrual cycle.
